Privacy Policy

Peaks to Flats is job tracking software used by roofing contractors to manage repair and quote requests and to notify their own crews about assigned work. It is operated by Humanear, Inc. on behalf of each contractor that uses it.

Who this covers

People who sign in to Peaks to Flats are employees of a contractor that has an account. Each contractor controls who is added to its account. We do not provide accounts to members of the public.

What we collect

Name, work email address, and, if the employee chooses, a mobile phone number for text notifications. We also store the job records the contractor enters: customer names, property addresses, contacts, and descriptions of work. That information belongs to the contractor.

Text message notifications

An employee may choose, in their own profile settings, to receive text messages when work is assigned to them. Text notifications are off by default and are sent only after the employee turns them on. Beneath that setting we display: message frequency is roughly a few per week, message and data rates may apply, reply STOP to stop or HELP for help, and the setting can be turned off at any time.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with anyone. No mobile information, opt-in data, or messaging consent is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Messages are sent on behalf of the employee's own employer, from that employer's registered messaging number, using Twilio as the delivery provider. Each employer's own privacy policy also applies to messages it sends.

How information is used

Only to operate the service: showing employees the work assigned to them, notifying them about it, and keeping the contractor's job records. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

Who we share with

Service providers needed to run the software: database hosting, email delivery, and text message delivery. Only to the extent needed to provide the service. We may disclose information where required by law.

Retention and export

Records are kept for as long as the contractor's account is active. A contractor may export all of its data at any time.

Security

Data is isolated per contractor, encrypted in transit, and stored with reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure.
